‘Cause people seem to only post the 20-something Audrey Hepburn.
Audrey Hepburn was the granddaughter of a baron, the daughter of a nazi sympathizer, spent her teens doing ballet to secretly raise money for the dutch resistance against the nazis, and spent her post-film career as a goodwill ambassador of UNICEF, winning the presidential medal of freedom for her efforts.
…and history remembers her as pretty.
AND HISTORY REMEMBERS HER AS PRETTY

Powerful & creative imagery
the food and education made me sad.
I have always been fascinated by these ‘world of 100 people’ things, I remember spending hours thinking through the ones on a poster at church when I was 9 or so. It really, really makes some really important stuff so blindingly clear, in numbers we can understand. And it should, I hope it does, inspire us to act.
well…..that made me sad….

Ellen’s just like “Bitch, don’t lie to me. I went on ‘trips’ with plenty of girls and we were ‘just friends’. I AM ELLEN, DON’T YOU DARE HIDE YOUR GAY IN MY PRESENCE.”
^ “DON’T YOU DARE HIDE YOUR GAY IN MY PRESENCE.” I literally thought Gandalf the Grey.
YOU SHALL NOT PASS [as heterosexual]!
Ellen is Gandalf the Gay

Rest Hole in the University of Seoul, South Korea by UTAA
The first floor of the dormitory in University of Seoul was originally an empty parking lot. An area enclosed by columns that supported the main office of the building, people would use the area only for smoking and storing bikes. The place was far too dark and inefficient and further desperately needed to be remodeled. In collaboration, the architectural students of the University of Seoul (Lee Sang-myeong, Ha Ki-seong, Baek Jong-ho) and UTAA designed a solution that would become much more than a simple rest area.
